Get Your 'Net in Gear (with Google!)

We have been saying that for years. It's even posted on our car. We want every business to take FULL advantage of the internet to help them capture more business, be more efficient, and to be an asset to your business.

We shared a "Who Am I" riddle years ago:

I am your marketing team, receptionist, and customer support. I can book appointments, answer questions, and make sales. I work 24/7 and cost pennies an hour. Who am I?

Answer: I am your website. (And if this isn't your website, you can use a better website...)

Here's a recent makeover: Century Homestead's former website was out-of-date and looked dated. They also added an antique store to their property and need to showcase that.

Below is their NEW website. It includes a photo slideshow on the HOME page showcasing the store as well as a photo gallery on another page. What's more Terry (the owner) can update these pictures because it is feed from a Google photo album. The website also capture emails so that she can re-market to them with announcements, sales and events.

When Terry saw her new website her response was "All I can say is WOW!!"

What's more, she is taking advantage of Google's "Get Your Business On-Line" program and her hosting is paid for a year by Google. The City of Rancho Cordova, the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce and the Tech Connective are actively promoting this program. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, Nov. 19 for a MAJOR event and stay tuned for details. Meantime, if you want to know more about his program and how to get your 'net in gear sooner, CLICK HERE.
