What does it take to go Mobile?

WHY GO MOBILE?
First off, let's review the reasons why going mobile is important. (HINT: Because the world is going mobile and responsible businesses will be responsive!)
  1. Currently about 20-25% of on-line traffic is coming from mobile devices. People are surfing the internet from wherever they are on the smart phones and tablets.
  2. Sales of mobile devices is expected to exceed desktops in the next year, which means the percentage of traffic will continue to grow and eventually exceed desktop traffic.
Since most websites were designed for a larger monitor and non-touch screens, viewing it on a tablet or phone is cumbersome and inefficient. It can be VERY frustrating for the visitor and therefore may be a reason for them to leave your site.

OPTIONS:
  1. Build a website designed for mobile devices. It will generally be a subset of your main site, summarizing the most important information and utilizing buttons like CLICK TO CALL or CLICK FOR MAP to make it really easy for visitors to do business with you.
  2. Build a responsive website that will adapt to the platform it is viewed from. The cons had been it is nearly impossible to display the right amount of appropriate information UNLESS you can make the website conditional: adapting the format AND content based on the platform.
GOOD NEWS:
Option 2 is available! We utilize a program that let's us create a responsive website for the same cost as a standard one AND it replaces the need to build and host a second mobile version.

NEXT STEPS:
  1. Check the traffic stats on your current website. If mobile traffic exceeds 20%, your target market is trending mobile (and so should your website).
  2. Schedule a demo with us. We will show you how it works and why is the what most websites will do sooner or later. We think later make cost you clients.
